PLEASE NOTE: NO YOGA THERAPY SESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS
Individual yoga therapy is a great place to start if you are new to yoga, if you have a particular physical or mental health concern that you would like help with, if you aren't sure what kind of yoga would suit you, or if you are just a bit wary of group settings.
Working with you on a one to one basis, I can design a personalised programme which combines all the different practices - physical, breath, mindfulness/meditation and relaxation - in a way that's tailored to your particular needs. This includes drawing up a programme of home practice which takes into account your lifestyle, so as to help you maximise the benefit you get from the therapy sessions as well as giving you tools to use 'off the mat' in your everyday life.
An initial yoga therapy session usually lasts 1.5 hours and includes an assessment. After that, sessions can be for either 1 hour or 1.5 hours, depending on your preferences and time availability. Sessions can be weekly, fortnightly or less regular as your needs require and as your home practice develops.
